Functions

• Standby: In the operating mode, the red LED will flash once every 40 seconds.
• Alarm: When the smoke detector detects particles of combustion and the concentration of smoke reaches the alarm threshold, the red LED will flash once per second with a pulsating alarm. This alarm will persist until the smoke within the chamber is cleared or when the alarm is manually acknowledged.
• Self-Test Function: It comes with self-testing function that can replace the manual weekly test.(Owners are recommended to test manually at least once a year)
• Low Battery: When the battery voltage is below the set threshold, an intermittent chirp will be emitted and the red LED will flash ONCE every 40 seconds.
• Sensor Chamber Fault: If the smoke detection chamber function weakens to below set threshold, a chirp signaling a fault will be emitted. Under this condition, the LED indication will NOT blink.
• Buzzer Failure Fault: In the event of Buzzer failure, the red LED will have TWO flashes every 40 seconds
• Silence: To silence the detector when it is in an alarm condition, pressing the test button will pause the alarm for approximately 10 minutes. Under this condition, the red LED will flash once every 8 seconds. If the smoke in the chamber is still present, the alarm will resound upon expiry of the silence mode.
• Do Not Disturb (Hush): When the detector is in a fault or low battery mode, pressing the test button will temporarily silence this warning tone for 10 hours. However, the warning signal will resound after 10 hours if the detector is not being attended to. The red LED will flash once every 40 seconds under hush mode.
